1966 Cadillac Sedan De Ville 4 Dr/Ht. Vin # B6168898. Mileage is 49,284 miles which, the owner to the best of their knowledge is original. The owner purchased this car from his uncle a number of years ago, his uncle purchased the car from an older couple in Alberta approximately 19 years ago. The owner is moving to the Yukon Territories for work purposes and is not want to take the car all the way up there.
The car is powered by a 429 cu in engine /4 bbl carb. The car since his uncle purchased it has been in indoor storage all the time. The car has the following options: power steering, power brakes, power seat, cruise control, air conditioning climate control, power windows, power door locks, power vents, power trunk, and tilt and telescoping steering wheel.
The overall condition of this Cadillac is very good. It had been repainted before the owner's uncle purchased the car. Because the car has sitting the gas is old, so fresh gas and a good Highway run will do wonders for this car.
Items that will need attention: climate control fan is not working, possibly a fuse,
3 position seat is working in 2 positions. All Windows including vent windows are working but slow. Power antenna not working. Many years ago mice found a home in the headliner above the passengers Sun visor, so there is a 3 inch diameter hole in the headliner. Any mice that were in their were exterminated and the car professionally cleaned and there has been none since.
All glass and chrome in very good condition. The interior is in excellent condition overall the paint overall is in good condition with scratches here and there. On the leading edge of the trunk drivers side there is some spider webbing in the paint The owners previous to his uncle had backed into something on the rear bumper passenger-side, it will need to be realigned. The undercarriage has minimal surface rust, trunk is solid. There is some small paint bubbles on the passenger side from the rear fender to the front fender.
After saying all that, what this car needs more than anything is some attention and to be driven.
